Joe's focus when approaching any design is to create an atmosphere that feels comfortable, refined, and which speaks to the personality of the client. Layering colors, textiles, unique furnishings, and personal effects, Joe's eye for visual balance and style results in spaces that not only have a sophisticated aesthetic, but are also intimately connected to its inhabitants.
A visual artist as well , Joe pushes himself to use unconventional materials in his work so that he might be able to develop a new definition for every day objects, while simultaneously doing the same for those who view his work. With a focus on texture, he views items not as what they are, but what they could be.
Since 2010, Joe has shown his art work throughout the state of Ohio and has designed events and interiors for commercial and residential clients in Cleveland, Cincinnati, Columbus, and Louisville.
A native Clevelander, Joe earned a Bachelor of Fine Art Degree from Northern Kentucky University in Scenic Design for the Theatre in 2012. Following, Joe returned to his hometown to pursue a Master Degree of Urban Planning, Design, and Development at the Levin College of Urban Affairs at Cleveland State University and completed the program in 2016. Upon graduation, he also earned a certificate in Historic Preservation from the same college.
